Just curious how other companies are handling the tracking of reasons for returns.
Currently we ask customers to provide returns reasons on packing slips which then feed in from WMS to SAP. We're looking into creating a second feedback loop where a reason code would get assigned internally during returns handling process at DC with the goal of then possibly feeding relevant information back up to production/design teams.
Does anybody else try to capture this information? If so, do you use any applications to assist with that process? Does QA dept get involved?
