I would like to ask the community of EPM for advice as to what is the standard process in EPM to handle the divesture of an entity. Once it has been legally divested and the financials have been zeroed out, what is the correct method in EPM to not have the entity continue to be included in the consolidation program?
So far it has been suggested to me the following:
1. to remove the entity from all the consolidation scopes.
2. to update the ownership percentage and control to zero.
3. to update the consolidation method to 'Leaving'. - really looking to understand what standard EPM should do in this process.
Would appreciate any comments and experiences that others have used.
