When a return is created, it is created wth reference to an existing order. We want the pricing to copy in exactly as it did from the original order (price and taxes). We can get it to work to a point. As long as the route/shipping point matches the original order, then it copies with no redetermination. But many times customers buy things in one store, and return to another store (in another state), or take something from the store and return it via UPS. In those cases, as soon as the route or shipping point change, then the pricing automatically redetermines, and often the taxes are different on the return line. We still only want to return exactly what they originally paid. How do other companies get this to work?
