Anybody here being affected by Russia Federal Law No. 242-FZ that will come in effect this September so we can share thoughts/suggestion on a potential solution where the current architecture is a run once multicountry global HCM SAP R/3 solution with servers not located in Russian territory?

The new law says that the primary transactional and repository database for HR data should reside in Russian territory, so it sounds like we will have to carve the Russia Employee data into a separate cloned instance. We wonder if anybody has a better, cheaper, suggestion, or a recommendation on how to implement this in the most efficient way, in terms of cost and time-frame.

      Thanks!
