Q: In today's webinar on 'The Changing Nature of Managing Project Scope' the following question was asked: "Do these best practices(and tools for managing change) apply only to discrete industries?".

A: No, these best practices/SAP tools apply to any industry.

Some of the tools such Engineering Change Management/Engineering Change Orders may be a better fit for certain industries such as discrete manufacturing or process industries.

And, Commercial Project Management, while designed specifically for those companies offering project services such as in the professional services or the engineering, construction, and operations industries...it also has applicability for capital-intensive, project-driven companies.
