This forum area is empty because it was created by those who morphed the Solution Manager SIG into a 12-word conglomeration, and typical SAP shops, I'd guess, don't have groups called "Application Lifecycle Management" or "Run SAP Like A Factory". They seem more like either marketing terms, or buzz words one might find in a conference setting.
(who does ALM, but who doesn't call it that)
I agree with Jim, but, you could also check with the ASUG Volunteers for this SIG - Charles Osei-Bempong and Murugesan Govindasamy. You can email them from the SIG web page.
Thank you both for your responses to my post.
I am new to the ASUG and user groups in general and appreciate you guidance and help.
For most of my career, I like you performed ALM tasks but didn't call it that either.
The reason I was excited to see the ALM SIG is because I am developing a ALM, (SDLC, PLM or insert acronym) process and how to use the tools to support it document. Which my company will use now that are installing SAP and have new supporting tools (i.e. ARIS, Quality Center, QTP, TAO, LoadRunner etc. ).
I will contact the sig owners as suggested.
But do you know where I would find that information (i.e. under the SolMan SIG)?
