We are running B1 2007 B PL 46 on SQL 2005.
When look on my SQL Server, I cannot see individual domain users connecting to the database, only myself (administrator) and SA.
Is this correct?
This is correct. SAP Business One only uses the sa user account to connect to SQL
You can see the indovidual computers that are connected to SQL by viewing the HOST column in the activity monitor.
Does that makes sense?
The reason I ask is I have an add-on from Navigator that is not working because the user <domain>\<user> cannot attach to our database. I'm not sure that we ever implicitly gave any users access to the database, I thought B1 would handle this.
Has anyone given implicit database rights to any users?
I spoke to my technical advisor a bit abouyt this.
There are some addons that may require you to create a user in SQL and give them approporiate rights to the database in question.
What Navigator addon is this?
Have you reached out to Navigator for any help as of yet?
I have a webex with Navigator today to look into this.
Let me know how that works out and what the solutions was.
