Carrie Lande is a seasoned enterprise software manager focused on driving projects end-to-end by collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams. Her 20+ year career in the SF Bay Area spans from application development, release management, product management, professional services management and consulting. She specializes in bringing structure to chaos and in navigating across global organizations. One of her greatest strengths is actively listening to customer input and translating their needs into easy-to-use software applications. She has a passion for building and nurturing relationships of all kinds.
Carrie is currently a member of the SuccessFactors Talent Management team which is redefining the next generation of performance management, and responsible for program managing a cross-functional team of product managers, marketers, user experience designers, thought leaders and customer experience executives. Carrie joined SAP in the HR Line of Business Solutions SAP in 2010, where she leveraged her cross-functional background to manage SAPPHIRE NOW for the HR LoB. Carrie launched the SAP Shared Service Framework solution for HR where she enabled field staff, supported go-to-market activities and evangelized the solution. Based on this experience, she collaborated across multiple teams to conceive of and launch a new cloud-based solution for helping employees, the Employee Central Service Center. She is the SAP Point of Contact for the ASUG SAP HCM Special Interest Group (SIG) for ASUG. She has presented at events across the globe, including SAPPHIRE NOW, hosted by SAP, ASUG, SAP Insider and IQPC’s SSOW. She has the great privilege of collaborating with a talented group of colleagues at SAP and within the partner ecosystem.
Carrie started her career at Deloitte, where she was a Senior Consultant. She moved into software development management at ERP vendor Walker Interactive Systems, was a product manager at Moodys KMV, and then served in several roles at EAM vendor Synergen, including professional services management. She continued to manage the professional services practice after Synergen was acquired by SPL and then Oracle, where she managed 60 professional services consultants for the Utilities Global Business Unit. She joined HR SaaS start-up Emportal as the Director of Product Management.
Carrie was born and raised in Denver, Colorado before moving to California to attend UC San Diego, where she earned her BA in Psychology. She holds an MBA from San Francisco State University and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and son where she enjoys travel, baking, working out and spending time with friends and family.
