Improve User Adoption with SAP Knowledge Accelerator (KA)
SAP Knowledge Acceleration (KA) is a customizable, Web-based learning and support tool for SAP and SAP BusinessObjects solutions. KA provides users with task-based and role-based materials that can be used for training and performance support. Come join this hands-on session to try several KA titles for yourself. Experts will be on hand to help you get started, explain the various options and titles available, and discuss how your company can use KA to improve user adoption.

    Introduction to Crystal Reports
Come and test-drive Crystal Reports. In this hands-on session, you will use the report wizard to create a new report, connect to a data source, and then analyze the report. In under an hour you will learn the basics of report design and have a presentation-quality report.

    Introduction to Web Intelligence
Do you need access to corporate data, but databases and SQL just aren’t your forte? If you can surf the Internet, you can obtain exactly the data you need for your business intelligence analyses. This session will give you hands-on experience using the Web Intelligence Rich Client to build a query and perform ad hoc analysis on corporate data. You will also learn how to include simple calculations on your Web Intelligence report to gain an even deeper understanding of what the data reveals about your business.

    Introduction to Universe Design
SAP BusinessObjects reporting tools are designed to be user-friendly and intuitive. What makes them so user-friendly are the universes they use to communicate with your corporate data sources. In this session, you will connect to a relational database and create a universe, learning the basics of universe development along the way. You’ll even get to test your universe in the Web Intelligence application.

    Introduction to Xcelsius
Corporate dashboards and scorecards are a great way to keep on top of your business from a high-level perspective. Xcelsius is a simple tool to use, yet extremely powerful in helping you analyze your overall operations. In this session, you will create a robust dashboard with interactivity allowing you to perform what-if analysis and gain a better understanding of your company’s full potential. You’ll also learn some basics of good dashboard design so that the focus always stays on your business.

Linking Xcelsius to Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports
Want to get the most from the various SAP BusinessObjects analysis tools? Come learn how to build URL links from Xcelsius dashboards to on-demand Web Intelligence and/or Crystal Reports in SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise. Using standard selectors to pass prompts and parameters, you will be able to facilitate drilling from high-level dashboard information to more detailed reports for further analysis.

    Universe Lifecycle Development
Do you need to keep track of multiple universes in multiple systems across your organization? Come to this session to get an overview of the different options you have in migrating your universe from development to test and production environments. You will explore two different options; working with multiple SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.1 Enterprises and creating separate environments within a single BusinessObjects XI 3.1 Enterprise.

Universes for SAP Business Warehouse (BW) Objects
Creating a universe for an SAP BW InfoProvider is easy enough, but there is usually a bit of tweaking that needs to be done to the universe before it’s ready for the end-users. Come to this hands-on session to learn how to connect to a BW InfoCube and then expose only the necessary key figures, characteristics, and attributes that the end-users needs for their Web Intelligence reports. You will also create a simple universe hierarchy based on a hierarchy referenced in the InfoCube, allowing Web Intelligence users to leverage the drilling capabilities of the tool.

Web Intelligence Filters, Functions, and Variables
Want to take your Web Intelligence knowledge to the next level? In this session, you will learn the difference between block and report filters, how to create formulas from scratch, and how to convert them into variables. Attendees should be somewhat familiar with creating a basic Web Intelligence document.
