The ASUG California – Northern Chapter has Chapter meetings down to a science. The Chapter held its second largest meeting on November 6 with an impressive 177 individuals in attendance. With 20 sponsors, the Chapter leadership was able to put on an exciting and inspiring event. The Crowne Plaza hosted the meeting and provided a beautiful facility and fantastic meals. Featuring 10 presentations from SAP product experts, 20 educational break-out sessions, and two keynote addresses, attendees were provided with the latest and most up-to-date information within the SAP ecosystem, proof that Chapter meetings are a great place to take advantage of year-round member benefits.

The generous sponsors added value by providing many giveaways, including gift certificates, an 18” computer monitor, a Netbook, and many more.

Another impressive part of the meeting was the number of first time attendees present; nearly half of the registrants were first time attendees. Word is spreading that ASUG California – Northern Chapter meetings include premier speakers and unique networking opportunities, attracting several non-members who have since expressed interest in joining ASUG.

A survey will be sent soon to meeting attendees requesting feedback, and the ASUG California – Northern Chapter Web page will be updated with additional information and upcoming events.
