Hello AFF SIG Members,
On behalf of your Apparel, Footwear and Fashion (AFF) Special Interest Group (SIG) volunteer team, we want to thank you for attending the sessions in our AFF SIG track at the 2017 SAPPHIRE NOW + ASUG Annual Conference. We know your time is valuable, and we're very appreciative that you're willing to once again make the journey to Orlando and to spend the time with us.
While we know that many customers are currently working on upgrades and migrations, we still had terrific representation this year across our industry:
Global Brands Group
The Rockport Group
Special thanks to the customers from Missguided in the UK, and Gazal Apparel from Australia who made the trip state side to the conference this year. We appreciated the commitment to make the extra long journey, and we look forward to collaborating further with you and your SAP user groups in the future.
Since we've continued to grow our educational and influence webcast sessions throughout the year, we returned to our traditional 3 day track, aligned to the conference proper (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). This year, we had 12 sessions across the three days (4 of the sessions were partnerships with our counterparts in other SIGs):
|Tuesday, May 16||Wednesday May 17||Thursday May 18|
AFF6988 - AFS / FMS / S4 Fashion Roadmap
AFF6992 - Why Fashion customers are seeking speed with style
AFF8941 - AFF Roundtable and Influence Update
Thank you to our speakers this year, who all delivered great educational content. We heard feedback from many of you that you found the content delivered by our speakers this year to be incredibly informative, and as a fellow AFS customer, I have to echo that sentiment as well.
AFF Networking Dinner
We want to thank once again our generous sponsors for a fantastic dinner of food, drink and great conversation at Ruth Chris. The dinner was once again a "sell out", and would not be possible without their generous support. We hope that if the need arises, that you continue to patronize these sponsors:
AFF Fall Meeting
We are excited to announce that our Annual AFF SIG Fall Meeting will be held at Burton Snowboards in Burlington, VT Sept 13 through Sept 15, please bookmark the date. Our volunteer team is already hard at work on the agenda! Call for Speakers, Sponsors and Registration notices will be coming in the next month.
We need you: We want to continue to build upon the success of ASUG Annual Conference, and are looking for great content and speakers for the Fall event. While "The Journey (to FMS and S/4 Fashion)" is on everyone's mind, we still think there's a great opportunity for customers running AFS. Did you recently wrap on a upgrade to the latest AFS SP? Did you have some smaller success with implementation of a SAP Business Suite product, or even a small add-on ? Did your SAP team build something from the ground up that you're really proud of? Plan on speaking about it at our Fall event!
Upcoming Education and Influence Council Webcasts
Your volunteer team is hard at work at some great webcasts for the remainder of the year. Please make sure you're subscribed to the AFF SIG page on ASUG so when dates and time are published, you can register for the event.
Reminder AFF SIG Influence Council: Are you interested in continuing to influence the direction of SAP's products for Apparel, Footwear, and Fashion customers? Make sure you are signed up and a member of the AFF SIG Influence Council. Contact Wim Schalken (firstname.lastname@example.org) to express your interest.
